Merry Christmas!

We had a couple of very nice Christmas celebrations and one more to come later this month! We celebrated the Denham Christmas this year the weekend before Christmas at my parent's house and had a great time. The girls were thrilled with their Wii and we were glad to have dad back to himself this Christmas as he was a little under the weather last year! :-) We then headed to Griswold for Christmas Eve. We left in a hurry on the night before Christmas Eve to try and beat the storm that was coming. We left at the right time...otherwise, I am not sure we would have made it! Ice and snow fell that night and the entire day of Christmas Eve. We celebrated with the Hansen side Christmas Eve and had fun opening gifts, playing The Biggest Loser on the Wii, and eating way too much food! We had to reschedule our Christmas Day plans as the weather conditions continued to worsen. We decided we had a window of time to get ourselves back to Granger before more snow started to fall in both Southwest Iowa and at home! We got on the road and made it home...slowly but surely!
