Games, Grandpas and Goodbyes

This was a full week and weekend for us! The Glenwood Rams (my home town) baseball team made it to the state tournament which is here in Des Moines. While daddy was out of town, we went to their first game. It was really hot, but Cale really enjoyed watching the game! The team won so they played again Friday and Saturday. Josh, Cale and I went with friends and family to the game Saturday night to cheer them on...and they WON! We had a great time...Kori and I even enjoyed a flash back to our glory days...making posters for the little kids to hold up at the game and starting some chats form the stands!

On Sunday we said goodbye to my sisters husband SFC Joseph Leuschen. He deployed for active duty and will serve for 1 year in Afghanistan. We will miss you very much Joe and are already looking forward to your homecoming ceremony!
